Here, you'll find insights into my artistic path, passions, and the adventures that have shaped who I am today. Whether you're a friend, colleague, or simply curious, I appreciate your visit and hope you enjoy getting to know me a little better. Thank you for your support and for sharing in this artistic journey with me.

My Story

Born and raised in Connecticut to my parents who were artists who specialized in restoring fine art. Despite my early exposure in becoming an artist, it wasn't until later in life, after the passing of my parents at 17, that I fully embraced my identity as a self-taught artist. The passion for art that had been simmering within me for years finally came back to me.

My portfolio has everything from hyper-realism to abstract realism, with subjects ranging from musicians and animals to influential figures like Nikola Tesla.

Raised in Connecticut, I later attended a boarding school in Litchfield, where I formed a friendship with Robin Frantz, the son of the 80’s band-Talking Heads, Chris Frantz and Tina Weymouth. Robin, Chris and his wife Tina‘s friendship provided solace and life advice during a challenging period marked by the illness and passing of both my parents. Along the way, music became a significant inspiration in my life, thanks to Robin's family for it.

The Restoration Process
Here is an example of a before and after conservation.

This was one of many restoration projects my parents performed.

A Series of Losses and New Beginnings
Tragically, I lost both of my parents to cancer within five months of each other when I was 17. I was a lost soul for many years. This devastating loss led me to seek solace in various places, from Chicago to Wyoming, and eventually to Sarasota, Florida. After a heartbreak in Florida, I moved to Arkansas to live with my strict great-aunt, but my grandmother helped me escape that environment and start anew in New Mexico.

Finding My Path
In 2002, when I was 20 years old, I worked at The Miller Studio as an art restorer and at a separate company called Yost Conservation as a master color matcher in painting. These experiences allowed me to hone my skills and further develop my artistic talent.

Rediscovering My Passion:
In 2009, I attended EMT school, which allowed me to help others in need and serve my community. However, my passion for art had not always been a constant in my life, but it reemerged and flourished only a few years ago.

A Brief Exploration of Dentistry and Tattoo Artistry
In 2010, I was chair-side trained as a dental assistant and also explored the world of tattoo artistry. I continued my dental assistant training in 2011 while working as a tattoo artist. However, I ultimately realized that neither of these careers resonated with me on a deep level, as I didn't feel the passion for them.

The Road Back to Art
In 2012, I moved back to Sarasota, Florida, and worked as a landscaper and at a big-box hardware store. After moving to Colorado for nine months in 2019, I returned to Sarasota and faced a difficult situation with a stalker, an unstable and mentally disturbed individual who needed mental help. This traumatic experience led me to seek legal action against the hardware store and eventually move back to Connecticut, where I reconnected with my EMT instructor and fell in love.

Always taking time to get unique shots

My journey as an artist has been a rollercoaster of emotions and experiences, and my passion for art has been a rediscovery that has brought me joy and healing. I am excited to share my passion with you through my artwork, and I hope that my pieces bring joy, inspiration, and a sense of connection to your life.
